A relaxing paper-folding workshop. Ideal for beginners and anyone interested in making decorations for special occasions such as Christmas or a wedding, or as personal gifts for friends and family.

 

During the session you will make a variety of folded paper star ornaments from templates that I will provide - choose from a variety of papers: muted/natural palette, recycled and vintage papers.

 

I'll demonstrate various techniques - paper folding and sculpting and origami techniques and I'll talk you through them step by step. There will be plenty of inspiring examples of simple gift wrap ideas incorporating star decorations with a Scandinavian feel, including using recycled papers and incorporating nature.

 

You'll take away: hand made paper decorations/gift toppers in a variety of  star designs to take home to make into a garland, printed instructions/templates, and a selection of more beautiful papers for you to continue crafting. Also ideas and inspiration for inexpensive gift wrapping.
